CCTV-NEWS是中央電視臺(tái)的全英文新聞?lì)l道，開播于2010年，由原央視英語(yǔ)國(guó)際頻道（CCTV-9）改版而來。CCTV-NEWS無論在報(bào)道手法、節(jié)目形態(tài)，還是在演播室設(shè)計(jì)和主持人風(fēng)格方面，都更貼近與海外電視觀眾的收視習(xí)慣。它注重及時(shí)準(zhǔn)確地充分報(bào)道發(fā)生在中國(guó)和世界各地的新聞時(shí)事和重大事件，為海外電視觀眾了解當(dāng)今世界提供“東方的視角”。CCTV-NEWS頻道內(nèi)容以新聞性節(jié)目為主，以綜合人文類節(jié)目為補(bǔ)充，實(shí)行全天24小時(shí)不間斷播出。
